I’ve been called up to do a group portraiture for Kedah’s team of Piala Emas Raja-Raja early this evening. Knowing that I don’t do much (at all perhaps) of any of its matches before that, I decided to do a portraiture session of each and every player as well.
As it was a cloudy day, I was wrestling with time, hence the availability of light. So don’t expect much from the portraits being well lit.
Soon after, at 2045, the team was scheduled to have a match with Singapore, a semi final as well as the 2nd leg match after a draw at 1-1 in Singapore. I’ve happy to report that though this is somewhat a 2nd class tournament in Malaysia, there’re many turn-ups filling the venue, Stadium Darul Aman, approximately half of the available seats.
Kedah managed to secure victory at 2-1, defeating Singapore’s away game. Both goals were contributed by Mohd Faizal Abu Bakar at the following minutes – 28 & 82.

Come the 28th of December, the finale of Piala Emas Raja-Raja shall be accommodated by Kedah’s very own Stadium Darul Aman.
